I am a Mom from British Columbia, Canada. My love of travel started early (I was probably the only kid in history who was thrilled at the prospect of driving across Saskatchewan with my family in August) and is still going strong. I headed out on my first trip to Europe when I was twenty and spent the next decade travelling overseas and across North America every chance I could get. When I met my future husband (AKA the world’s most patient man) and he turned out to be a fantastic travelling partner, the deal was sealed. Seven years and two kids later, we’re still exploring every chance we get, although we have been sticking a bit closer to home. Still, the kids may not be able to read yet, but they know the airport security lineup drill without being told. In between trips I’m a bit of a homebody who likes nothing better than a quiet night at home with my family. When I’m not on the road, I’m thinking about travel, reading about travel, dreaming about travel and now, writing about travel.
